Published - Driver in crash that killed journalist arrives in Manila

Daniel Espinosa, the driver of the bus that killed journalist-professor Lourdes “Chit” Estella-Simbulan, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) around midnight Friday.
Accompanied by his sister Nenita Jaum and police escort Senior Inspector Leonar Pamplona, Espinosa arrived at the NAIA Terminal 2 at 11:58 p.m. via Philippine Airlines after his earlier flight was deferred due to the plane’s engine trouble.
