News Patrol is the hourly news-bulletin of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs. It replaced ABS-CBN News Advisory in 2005, which was initially named ABS-CBN News Update. It is also the first Philippine news program to broadcast the victory of the 1st Philippine Mt. Everest Expedition Team. Originally, it was an news bulletin of the morning show Magandang Umaga Bayan until 2005.
